There’s very few aircraft in the world that can claim to have flown 50,000,000 miles in their lifespan, British Airways B777, registration G-ZZZC, is part of this fairly exclusive club! What makes this B777 extra special is being the first Boeing 777 in Europe!
G-ZZZC started life all the way back in 1995. Remember the 1995? Michael Jackson was releasing the Earth Song and the evolutionary DVD was only just announced. How times have changed… Well towards the end of this year, G-ZZZC took off from Boeing in the US, powered by two GE90s to be delivered and start life flying passengers all around world. She didn’t stop for the next 25 years!
This is one of the B777s which recently made its way through the disassembly process here in St Athan, Wales with many of the aircraft parts being carefully removed and returned back into service. Fortunately for aviation collectors, we’ve managed to secure a number of parts from this ionic and much loves aircraft. Add a piece of G-ZZZC to your collection!
