Description

Polished A320 Overwing Exit with Mirror

This mirror has been created from a genuine Airbus A320 overwing exit door, carefully reworked to highlight the character of the original aircraft component.

The aluminium skin has been polished to a bright, reflective finish, bringing out the details and construction of the panel while retaining its origins as a working piece of an aircraft. The original acrylic window has been replaced with a fitted mirror, giving the door a practical purpose without losing the features that make it instantly recognisable.

The overwing exit is one of the most distinctive panels found on the exterior of the A320, with its unique shape, recessed handle, and visible engineering details. The polished finish offers a clean, modern appearance, while the original rivets, panel lines, and aircraft-grade construction remain very much part of the piece.

Whether displayed in a home, office, workshop, or aviation-themed space, it works equally well as a functional mirror and as a conversation piece. Its size and shape give it a presence on the wall without feeling overly decorative.

Each OWE is taken from a genuine aircraft and may show minor signs of its previous service life. Small variations in finish and surface character are to be expected and form part of the individuality of each piece.
